Date added: 02/24/2012 Preparing for the end of the world in 2012

One of the most important aspects of preparing yourself and your family for any emergency is having a supply of food available. In the event of a prolonged emergency where you are unable to go to the grocery store for re-supply, having ready made meals to feed your family is the smart and economical thing to do.

Many people stock up on large sacks of grain or 5 gallon buckets of their favorite freeze dried vegetables. Many have stored large numbers of #10 cans. (I'm one of them)

One of the issues people have with these large quantities, is using up what they have opened before it goes bad.

We've found a better way!

Delicious, ready made meals sealed in airtight, nitrogen-packed 4 serving mylar pouches, and then encased in easy to carry, durable plastic containers. You only open what you will use that day!

The unique packaging process removes the majority of the residual oxygen through a nitrogen flushing practice giving these a shelf life of up to 25 years, with absolutely no rotation needed.

25 year shelf life!  What do you think the cost of food will be in 25 years?  Certainly much higher than what it is now.

We have partnered with Wise Company to be able to offer you these long term food supply options. We have 3 day supply, 1 month supply, and even up to a full year's supply of food for an entire family. These entrees costs way less than what you pay at the grocery store for your regular meals. And these taste great!

Official USDA statistics reveal that the average cost to feed a family of 2 adults and 4 children is $14,955.60 per year.  Wise Company ready-made meals run approximately $1.60 a serving (depending on quantity purchased), making them truly affordable.

We are offering you the chance to get stocked up, save money, and take care of your family. You've seen the news, watched the TV shows, and even the government recommends keeping your own food storage program.

Just go to this link

Food Storage

There is a huge demand for long term food storage. We are filling these orders as fast as we can and want you to also be able to take advantage of this opportunity.

Due to huge demand, please allow 3-7 business days for your order to ship.

It's simply being prepared.™

Date added: 10/05/2011 Free Fishing Yo-Yo

For a limited time, we are giving away a fishing Yo-Yo to every customer that places an order.

Fishing Yo Yo

You can actively fish or you can have it done for you. Gathering food can be time consuming. With one or a few of these set up, you are proactively working towards your survival.

The automatic fishing reel is easy to set up. Add a hook and bait and you're ready to fish. Tie the yo-yo to a tree branch, and lower the line into the water. It stays under the water until a fish takes a bite of your bait and then...wham! The coiled spring sets the hook automatically and your fish stays in place until you retrieve it.

These are nearly weightless and do not take up much space at all.  You can easily carry 3 or 4 of these to increase your chances of having something to eat. Every survival kit should have ways of getting calories and the fishing Yo-Yo is a clear winner in this regard. Place an order today and get one of these for FREE!

Date added: 07/28/2011 Pathfinder Advanced Class Graduate

Steve Thibeault and Dave CanterburyAlready a Basic course graduate, Steve Thibeault recently attended and graduated the Pathfinder Advanced Class taught by Dave Canterbury, co-host of Dual Survival on Discovery Channel.

Wilderness self reliance is about being able to sustain yourself with little or no gear. Dave's Pathfinder system teaches the 10 C's of survivability:

  • Cutting Tool
  • Combustion Device
  • Cover
  • Container
  • Cordage
  • Cotton Bandanna
  • Compass
  • Candling Device
  • Cloth Sail Needle
  • Cargo Tape

With these ten things, you're taught to provide for all your needs during a short or even an extended stay in the wild. For the things you don't have, you have the tools to make them out of natural materials so you can continue on. Owning these skills makes you less reliant on your gear and more reliant on yourself and your best survival tool: your brain.

We've done a lot over the past couple of months!

Several new products have been added including:

  • Pocket Chainsaw
  • Wool Blanket
  • Camp Axe
  • Camo Poncho
  • Vehicle Emergency Kit
  • A new Grab and Go Bug Out Bag
  • Wind Up Radio Sporks
  • 1 Qt Canteen
  • 2 Qt Canteen
  • GI Survival Trip Wire
  • E-tool - Entrenching tool or shovel
  • Reuseable Zip Ties
  • Sleep Outside Survival Package
  • The Heavy Duty Emergency Survival Kit

And we've updated all of our survival kits with new images!

Our premium series kits have had a few changes too. We're now including the pocket chainsaw instead of the wire camping saw; including the water bottle and filter; switched the shovel to a more compact and rugged version; and added Sporks for one per person. You need something to eat with, right?

We'll continue to add more gear and kit options for different scenarios. Our kits are primarily geared towards Wilderness Survival. In that scenario, you have nothing to start out with and may even have to make your own shelter.

We're also looking for some reviews on our products. If you have purchased any of our kits or even individual products, please go to that page and click the review tab. It helps others make a decision when someone other than us recommends something. Thank you for your support of our store. We really appreciate it!

Date added: 12/30/2010 New Products on Board!

We've added some new products!

A 1 quart and 2 quart canteen are now available within the Food and Water category.

An Army type backpack, which is the same as my personal rucksack from my Army days. This rucksack has numerous pockets and tie down points for adding gear. The canteens mentioned above can be attached to the outside of the pack. We'll soon be coming out with an ultimate survival kit using this piece of equipment and a lot more gear. You can find this in the Packs category.

The pocket chainsaw - I've had one of these for years and have used it to cut logs in half.  This saw works absolutely great and will greatly enhance your ability to create a good shelter or have firewood all cut up.  No motor on this chainsaw - it's all muscle work.  But this thing really does rock! Find it in the Tools category.

And we recently added the wind-up/solar radio that has AM, FM, and a weather band so you can keep up on what's going on in the world. This is in the Signal category.
