Sling Bow - Pocket Hunter

The Sling Bow Pocket Hunter was designed to provide a sleek, compact, lightweight, and efficient hunting unit that can be folded and easily carried in a backpack, bugout bag, or even on your belt.

This slingshot is fitted with an adapter and special bands that makes it easy and accurate to shoot regular sized arrows with a 40 lb draw.

Dave Canterbury, owner of The Pathfinder School, teaches wilderness self reliance incorporating his own 10 C's of survivability. Based in Ohio, "The Pathfinder System trains the beginner to experienced outdoorsman, bush crafter, or adventurer in outdoor self reliance, primitive, and survival skills." He and his father came up with a design for the slingbow that is rock solid and gives you the ability to hunt small or large game.

• The unique structure of the Pocket Hunter allows for stealth hunting in very close proximity with your intended game.

• Because the Pocket Hunter was constructed to attach directly to the slingshot, you are able to convert the slingshot into a non-conventional bow capable of shooting standard size arrows in very tight areas where shooting with a traditional bow simply would not be possible.

• In addition to hunting small game, the Pocket Hunter can be used around water as bowfishing to get fish, turtles, or any other potential food sources close to the bank. It comes equipped with a spool that holds your line and attaches directly to the Pocket Hunter. Attach the other end of the line to your arrow.

• The Pathfinder School recognized that carrying standard size arrows in your pack would be inconvenient, if not impossible, that is they also came up with handcrafted 3pc break down arrows that can be carried in your pack and, when assembled, become a standard size arrow; the perfect compliment to the Pocket Hunter.

• This slingbow has a 40lb draw at 28 inches.

The Complete Pocket Hunter System comes with the slingshot, adapter, fishing spool, pre-installed band, and an extra band. Arrows are not included but can be purchased separately or choosing to add them from the drop down menu above.

The Adapter Only comes with the same except no slingshot. This adapter fits on a Marksman Slingshot model 3040.

At a closer look, you will clearly see the smooth surfaces, the rounded edges, the rounded tips of the arrow rest, the 3 distinct siting locations, thus allowing the hunter to hold the Pocket Hunter at an angle and still be able to accurately site the intended target. This is a great piece of gear to have in your survival kit and in your regular 'go to the woods' bag.
